go-getter

An irritating, obnoxious individual who engages in kissing ass and routinely attempts to steal all of his or her co-workers remotely interesting work. Typically, the newest hires, whose enthusiasm has yet to be crushed by the boss or the department's work environment, assume this role. Eventually, they catch on to the fact that they're doing everybody else's work and have nothing to show for it.
