Expressing negative feelings through nondirect and unassertive behavior. A virtual epidemic in the workplace. For example, asking a fellow employee, “Does my Outlook not connect to your Outlook? Should I call the help desk to sort this out?” when one is just pointing out that the coworker didn’t respond to an e-mail.
